Merry Christmas!

Have a nice Christmas everyone!

Been watching Anime the past 2 days. Finished Minami-ke S1 and halfway through S2. No Shinbans next week basically, so good time to catch up on older ones and play Clannad.

Random stuff happened.

I spent yesterday watching anime. Need to finish Minami-ke and okawari before 3rd season.

Ok, so today, I was halfway through Tora 12 (Finally had time), when we had to go out. We went to our uncles and wasted some time on the Wii. Then we went out to lunch. Afterwords, my cousin wanted to get some pokemon movies so we went to a few DVD stores, but they were sold out (ya, wtf), so we just walked around a bit and stuff. Then we came back and had dinner.

Also, lol, sneaked in this message. the International Saimoe League (ISML) uploaded their international welcome messages. Got this extra Chinese message sneaked in: (提名東方角色吧! - *拖走*) (TL: Nominate Touhou Characters! *Dragged away*)... extra lolz. (Guess the culprit...)

So moral for today, Nominate Touhou. Gonna go catch up on more shows.

EDIT: They took it off, XD

National Science Museum

Well, we spent quite a bit of time at home today, so I was catching up on all the little bits I needed to (namely ISML stuff). Got that all done. Still need to watch Tora 12 but...

So anyway, we went to the National Science Museum this afternoon. We wanted to see the mammoths, but there was a huge line, so we will probably go there some other time. So we just spent some time looking at other things (photos are currently going on photobucket), like satellite images of Taiwan and photo shoots of penguins and polar bears.

Also was a Chinese inventions display, I was like "wow" when I read some of the stuff. They had newspapers in the 1600's and a physicist then stated that "time and space cannot exist without the other", so I was like "where did all the REALLY smart Chinese go?". Also took some photos of a giant squid, while thinking about BBQ's.

Will need to spend a whole day there next time, they seemed to have a lot more exhibits than 4 years ago, or I just missed them. They have 980,548 pieces of stuff in this museum :o (as of Oct 2008)

Despair

yesterday was okay, caught up on a lot of stuff. Went to a short light show thingy with a lot of people last night. Nothing too interesting except we saw a goat there. Yeah.

Spent ages trying to install Applocale in Vista... and then installed Clannad FV. Problem is, MY APPLOCALE WON'T WORK! It doesn't want to run the program with applocale. Now I'm stuck not being able to play Clannad. I am in despair. Helppp meeee

past 2 days

Ok, we went a few places. Firstly, we went to the 823 Peace Memorial Park. Over there is a lot of old machines (ie Tanks and planes) on display. I took a heck load of photos so I am just gonna UL them on Photobucket and give you the link. It was a pretty cool place lol.
We later went to see my cousin do some horse riding, she's pretty good at it. Didn't take much photos because my sister had the camera and I was reading an interesting book between glances. XD

Yesterday, we went to some hot springs, again I will load pics on Photobucket, since there's quite a bit. The palce is called "Flame mountain" because it has soil that makes it looks like its on fire from a distance. They are also building Taiwan's Shaolin temple there. Pretty cool, since there was statues of all those monks in martial art poses. /me failed to imitate them. The hot springs were filled with funny white stuff in it. it is only the calcium, though XD there was also some circus-like performances, and All I could think about was vectors and centre of mass. DAMN YOU PHYSICS D:

So overall, really short account, because the photos can speak for themselves.

Wii, movies and more nightmarkets

Yeah, practically spent a whole day out again. Spent some time playing the Wii at our uncle's company while waiting for another uncle to finish work to take us to Shinkong Mitsukoshi. Wii sports wasn't bad, although I rather do real bowling. Lol. New lappy is pretty <3, although I haven't tested ot's audio yet (need to get some FLACs), and started putting the programs I needed in it.

Lunch was Ramen, lol. It is so cheap in Taiwan, Tanpopo sized large bowl for only $4 NZ! And free juice and drinks... Tastes great too! Need to go there more. Lol.

Went to Shinkong after lunch, it is a big department store. However, we mainly went for the movie. My cousin wanted to watch Twilight, which is what 14 yr girls would want to watch apparently. I didn't mind watching it, but my sister kept trying to get out of it. We forced her into it though. The movie wasn't that bad ,at the very least it wasn't boring. At least worth a rental, maybe. We went by some CD and book stores after as well. Found a copy of Mazinger Z collection (all 94 eps on DVD) for 1880 NT... like $100NZ or $55 US. WANT! But no money till parents get back... damn. Also saw a boxset for Mahoraba :P The bookstore had a book called "Little Boy - the artistic explosion of Japanese Subculture". Flipped through it, and it seemed awesome. It had modern Japanese art and anime etc... although its about $65 US, so I am debating on whether I should get it. It had cool screencaps from Daicon IV though XDDDD

Went back to Nightmarkets and ate more different stuff. Forgot to buy Turkish ice cream off that cool guy though. Must make sure I do next time. That guy is awesome. You must go to him if you come to Fong Ja. Missed Megami sama though, but there are re-runs this morning.

Finally home.

Well, as I think I have mentioned before, one of my cousins came back from Qatar. However, she is only staying for about 9 days, so we are going to be out a lot these few days (Sorry, Silence and Bowen and the lot lol). Today, I went out at like 8:30. We spent the morning waiting for uncle to come back and take us places, so I listened to her play the piano (She's grade going for grade 9 soon). It was pretty good playing, just as expected from one of that level. My sister, however, KEPT TRYING TO GET HER TO PLAY ANIME SCORES. Geez, can't she learn piano herself?

We had lunch at a Korean BBQ place, the side dishes was free so we kept eating it. Tasted quite nice.

We spent the afternoon at a mini department store/bookstore and read books and walked around and chatted. Still better than just sitting in front of the computer and watching anime all day XDDD. We are probably going to watch a movie tomorrow (She REALLY REALLY wants to watch Twilight), and go around the rly beeg department store that has the cinemas in it. Not too sure what we might do on Thurs, so certain projects may be stalled, gomen.

At least I'll get to watch Megami-sama in 30 mins. :P

Taiwanese people... and some extra stuff.

I dunno why this took me a week to remember and post... but Taiwan people are scary when it comes to arcades.

Remember I went to Taipei last week? Well, when we went to the arcade... there was these two people (which I guess father and son) playing Taiko Tatsujin. They were passing Oni stages like they were made of nothing :o in one song, the father got a full combo. IN FRIGGIN ONI MODE D:
Then, there was this person playing DDR... and uh, he was playing the double mat thing (for got name) on lik ehard mode by himself and passing it...

I was like, oh eem gee. NZ people sucks at arcades. lol. Also, there was also one arcade game involving shooting. That's nothing special, but the guns they had for the machine looked exactly like Zaku rifles. OTL

Now, there are 3 anime stores, each within 15 minutes walk from where I am living right now. All 3 sells mangas and light novels, but the other merchandise are quite differnt.
Shop 1 sells Mostly small stuff like Badges, phone straps and playing cards. They also do doujins.
Shop 2 sells quite a lot of figures, and some MTG boosters (XD), they also have quite a good range of figures and those boxed mini figures + other small figures. Gunpla too.
Shop 3 sells figures too, but they are pretty different to shop 2's. So going around all 3 can get me most of the things I might want. Shop 3 also has a large ordering log for new figures. Anyone want to order 1/8 PVC Horo figure released in April? Lol.

Still need to get some stuff from Taipei such as Calendars from animate, but overall I'm not complaining.

Tech Exhibition!

Today's the first day of the exhibition. Got there at about 9:45am, and waited till 10 for the thing to start. There was like a myriad of stores giving out a myriad of pamphlets. We also did some surveys and go free stuff, like a card reader. Yeah. I then wandered around the computer suppliers like Acer, hp, IT'S A SONY, and Asus. Need to buy a new lappy for uni, plus the lappy I'm using right now fails. It doesn't eve have an wireless adaptor or DVD drives. DX. Laptops in NZ are now actually pretty close to price to Taiwan Laptops because of the gay exchange rate. I think theres some stuff NZ doesn't have though.

So I talked to random salespersons (I left the catalogues at uncles company so I cant rem the processor details etc) and so, and got these ones that I would consider:
ALL THE PRICES WILL BE LESS THAN WHAT I SAY BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER AT EXHIBITION XD
(IT'S A SONY!) Vaio CR365 (or something) - 14' widescreen, T8100(2,1Ghz), 2g RAM (free upgrade to 4g), 250gb HDD, video card not that good though, 4hr battery life - 29,800 NT
Asus F80 - 14' widescreen, T5800(2.0Ghz), 3g ram, ATI HD 3470 256MB, 250gb HDD, 2.5 hr battery - around 29,500 NT
Acer Inspire 4935G (Probably a new one, didnt see anything similar in NZ) -
1. T5800(2.0GHz), 512mb Nvidia9300M graphics, 2g RAM, 320GB hdd, dolby surround sound - 33,900
2. P8600(2.4Ghz) dual 2 core, 512mb Nvidia9300M, 4g RAM, 320GB HDD - 41,900 NT

By the way, I might go for acer because I can apparently get it very cheap. Family has connections or something. Btw - they were talking about Wi-Max like Wifi but on www level as opposed to LAN level) and selling MP5's. O.o

We then went to lunch at Shabu Shabu - it is awesome. It had all the stuff you want for your pot, with stuff like pig's blood (yum yum). Dessert is awesome also. There was Umeboshi ice, which wasn't sour enough D: and soda ice blocks. Not to mention a lot of Taiwan-only stuff. Oh, there was instant noodles also. NZ should learn a bit.

Went to the book sale in the afternoon, but found nothing good. Couldn't find any good JLPT books. Instead, there was a lot of "learn english" books. Let's get that instead! Ahaha, no. So ended up not buying anything. Although I found several copies of guides to Akihabara (2005 edition)... lol. Also was a pretty thick book on Tezuka Osamu and 6 other Mangaka's or something. Not that interested though.

Help me decide on a lappy XD

Citizen ID

It's like the Passport you use within Taiwan. Has your address on the back and stuff. Needs one to get free money from the government next month, so off we went to the local council. It took about an hour to process it, since we had to change address and sign lots of forms because we came back from overseas. Then it took 10 mins for them to print our new cards, much faster than NZ lol...

Gonna go to the tech exhibition tomorrow, and buy a new laptop!

The Markets~

I totally forgot to put it up yesterday.

I was bored yesterday morning, so I decided to go with gran to the markets to buy some stuff. I haven't been to one in ages. Basically, like night markets, the morning markets is also a whole street (or few) of small stores. However, unlike night markets, which mainly sell food and small things like clothes and phone decorations, morning markets mainly sells groceries, produce and meat so people can cook.

I haven't been to one in ages. Used to go to the one in Sui Nan. This one was even bigger. I must say how cheap food is in Taiwan. Even with the increase in vegetable prices because of bad weather, you can still buy radishes/turnips for less than $1 US a kilo. Clams are about $3 US a kilo, etc... As usual, the street is filled with pedestrians and motorcycles. They stop at the stores they need before going on their way again. Makes you wonder why there is so little accidents inolving cars and pedestrians, eh? They are used to it.

Didn't bring a camera this time as I needed to help carry the stuff we bought, I think I'll bring it nect time I go, as I am bound to. We sure bought a lot of stuff as well. Very cheap too. Like wages here =/, I'm glad I worked in NZ as I can spend twice as much as people in Taiwan, lol.

Merchandise etc.

Alex - Clannad calendar and Kotomi Keychain
Morrison - if you want more, tell me, I don't know how much money you want to spend.
Wing - enjoy your SHAMEIMARU~~

Taipei, 12/7 - part 3

Morning was normal, woke up, had breakfast, read some manga. At about 10am we went out on the bus. There was a lot of buses, and they had set routes unlike Auckland where 1 bus goes to way too much places. Buses + MRT = epic.

Went to the Guan Hua business circle. It's basically 4 floors of computers, electronice, stereos and gaming (PS, XboX, Wii). There was also a few book/manga stores. Looked around for what I could buy. Found some gundam parody mangas that had an awesome blurb. I also saw 5 vols of Ga Rei, 14 vols of SZS, and 15 volumes of Hayate that I want to buy. Sadly, my ATM... I mean, parents aren't back yet.

Went back to the University area for lunch. Lunch was Tonkatsu. I don't know why but like all the meals I had in Taipei outside was Japanese. Breakfast was rice porridge so you can SAY it's Japanese too. Ahaha. Should have gone to Ximen and ate at that restaurant with toilet seats as your seats. XD

After lunch, it was back to Ximen to order that Hayate Figma for Wing. Luckily, I had enough money left since I didn't buy that T-shirt last night. I just hope I can pick it up before I go back... since they ain't sure when it will be released in Japan (sometime in Jan), and it needs to get shipped over. If we may have to wait till the friend comes to NZ again. Wallet is almost empty now, after buying tickets back home.

Caught the 3:00 train back and arrived in Taichung at aobut 5:15pm. I'll be back again, with a fuller wallet next time. Rawr.

Taipei, 12/7 - part 2 - DREAM_STAGE_YUI_AND_MINORI

Following on from before...

The concert has a scheduled entry at 6:30pm, which is about the time when I got there, since the dinner place was busy. I should have got there earlier, as I missed out on buying the special T-shirt they were selling, and the 500NT a draw to get an autograph from Yui & Minori. However, as I only arrived in Taiwan like... 3 full days ago, I didn't get much time to check what is on sale etc. Instead, I just bought some glowsticks and headed on in.

The gym was pretty packed, and most of them was male. I did spot quite a few female faces, though. A lot of people was wearing those T-shirts, and a few was wearing clothing with Nagato on it. Pretty supportive, Taiwan. I saw a person with a Watanagashi Shirt thing. After a few minutes of waiting, the lights dimmed and LET THE SHOW BEGIN! Btw, I was in row 2 (almost right infront of the stage), and right in front of the speakers. Extra epicness.

The crowd cheered and stood up. Glowsticks were unleashed filling the gym with pink and blue (Pink for Yui and Blue for Minori). First out was... SAKAKIBARA YUI, and her two assistant dancers, Hitomi and Chika. Yui wore a pink glitter top with a frilly pink skirt, standard performance clothes imo. I'll talk about my thoughts on her performance first (which is the first half of the show).

Yui is a brilliant live performer. Her dancing background means that she can add in a lot of dynamics while singing at the same time. Her dancing fitted great with the tune, and the dancers were also in great sync. She know when to move around the stage and interact with the audience. Her singing is also awesome. She swapped between songs that require different moods and voices one after the other, and changed it accordingly. The crowd was also very supportive, and glowsticks moved in (almost) perfect synchronisation to each other and the music. There was plenty of cheering to the beats. I was thinking that my $2500NT ($100 NZ and $65 US when I bought it) was totally worth it not even halfway in.

After about 3 songs, she made some small talk. Asking us if we are fine with her speaking Japanese. The crowd answered "YES" really loudly, lol. Ten she joked about the Japanese people (there was a Minori fanclub tour group) being fine :P. She also introduced her dancers and herself to much more applause. She then introduced her next song - the Galaxy Angel OP.

Again, there was much excitement and support from the audience. One great song followed the other, and much time was spent in absolute enjoyment. She took a small break, drank some water and did some more small talk. She said that she went to Animate the day before the concert, and some people put it on their blogs. She also said that she sometimes go to Maid Cafes, lol. I'm glad I took Japanese.

More songs was thrown out, until she finally had to finish to let Minori have her turn. However, the crowd demanded Encore, and she responded with 3 more songs (I think they have a few songs in reserve in case an encore is demanded). That ended the first half, or the Yui concert.

Intermission was 20 minutes. My glowsticks ran out so I went and bought some new ones that will probably last longer (which it did, its still working right now). Then the crowd took their drinks, reloaded on their glowsticks and got ready for the Minori part.

The appearance of Minori was greeted with MASSIVE cheers (me included). It seems that there are more Minori supporters. The gym was also filled with blue glowsticks! If Yui was a brilliant live performer, then Minori is an EPIC live performer. Although she has less action than Yui, she did even more interaction with the audience. Her voice also projects better and clearer than Yui. MP3's/CD's/FLAC's are no match for her live epicness. The crowd probably knew this as well, and I'm sure they showed more support. I ended up spending 1.5 hours shouting "Minori, hey! Minori, Hey!", and jumping up and down like a madman (not like I didn't for Yui, but this time, I put a lot more effort into it XD).

She also sang 2 or 3 songs, then stopped to make small talk as well. Talking about how good it is to be in Taiwan and seeing our support. She was nervous because we showed so much support for Yui, but was glad to also receive so much support. She also mentioned how hot it was, because it was. Lol. She went to the Night markets the night before, and found it interesting. Taiwan Night markets are the best (my opinion XD). Then she talked about some character songs and started to sing them.

The Nagato Ch song (Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite) was awesome. The audience practically went crazy when she sang it. Listening to the song on the computer again justg doesn't seem so good anymore. Oh dear. Her 3rd song after her small talk was... you know it, PARADISE LOST. The live performance was OVER 9000 times better than the mp3! She would sing "wakari au" and we, the audience will echo "wakere au" etc. After I finished listening, I felt that I could die with no regrets. This live also sealed the deal for me. Paradise lost is now the best song of the season for me.

Long story short, she also did more small talk and way more songs. They were even more epic than Yuis. Oh, and I forgot to say... her Character songs had a live band performing for her (well it was 5 ppl, but its still a band). That upped the epicness of the song by another 3 times. Another thing I noted is how much cuter/moe her voice sounds when she speaks normally, I was like "WTF this is way too cool". She also did a costume change in the middle of the performance, which bought the audience to another high.

At last, she finished. However, we asked for an encore REALLY LOUDLY, and she responded also. She also changed into the Concert T-shirt (as with Yui in her encore), and sang two more songs. She ended off with again, the Nagato Character song. This time, the whole audience was singing along, bringing the night to its full climax. Then they both came out, took their bows, and the show finished. Those lucky enough to get a autographed ticket stayed behind, while the rest of us left.

We then had a quick snack (stinky tofu ftw) then went back, took a shower and slept. There was also some Itashas when I came out... but my sister left the camera at the friends where we were staying, so I couldn't get any photos. She fails D=

Part 3 (day 2) will come tomorrow, need to sleep now.

Photos (very little because photograhpy and recording were banned in the concert, and I was too high on glowsticks to care).

The venue!
Posters. I wanted to take one down but since I sat at the front I came out too late D:

Taipei, 12/7 - part 1

Took the 9:10 train to Taipei. Luckily for us our house is pretty close to the station so we got there in a few minutes. There was quite a few interesting things at the Taichung station. Such as this poster:
Funky, eh? If you still don't get it, its an anti-smoking poster featuring Optimus Prime. Rawr.
While waiting, my sister got bored and decided to take a picture. For people who plays Touhou.
Yes. Mind the gap.

Arrived at Taipei at ~ 11:30pm. Went to the nearby department store for lunch (Omu rice), then hit the RMT to get to Ximending. The RMT is bloody convenient... at busy times, there is like one train every 2 minutes. It's cheap also, I think the furtherst from the mian station is ~40NT ($2.30 NZ or $1.25 US). So we got there pretty fast.

Ximen, for those who don't know, is a famous shopping district in Taipei. It's a bit like a mix of Akihabara and Shinjuku. There was some weird shops too...

Shop C4, what does it sell?

They sell everything from anime to condoms. Yes ,there IS a condom shop there. There was a pretty big sign.

Our first stop was Animate Taipei. My sister forgot to take a photo of the store... and we couldn't take any inside. They banned it. However, there was a load of anime posters, calendars, and other small trinkets like phone straps, mugs, badges, stickers and a lot more. Found a few pretty good Shana, Sensei and Rozen Maiden ones too. Bought for friends Clannad calendar, LS stickers, Nanoha badges and Haruhi keychains and phone straps. Also bought a Sensei good luck charm because it was way too funny.
Best good luck charm ever.

We then wondered around and somehow managed to find KT, another Anime merchandise store. Heaps of Gachapon there too. WIll prob take more photos when I get back to Taipei. There was a lot more figures and mini figures there. Also quite a few T-shirts and apparel. Found a set of cool Touhou key-chains/magnets, which should keep some friends happy for a Bday/Xmas present. I think we weren't allowed to take photos, but since the shop was a lot bigger etc ,my sis managed to sneak a photo in.
Some of the girls.

The store also had a cabinet full of autographs by mangakas and those sort... wanted so badly. Saw a 1/7 Hayate figure too, but its 3300 NT... ($100 US or $180 NZ ish). Bought some of those magnets for friends, and a Kotomi keychain thingy.

All the stuff I bought will be posted later in a seperate post...

Went to the Taiwan University station at about 4:30pm, to our friends where we will stay the night. took a photo of the Taipei 101 for the lulz.
Tall building is tall~

Went back out at about 5:30 and had dinner. For the coming concert. Dinner was Japanese curry. It was very delicious. Made my way to the gym for the concert.

Part one will end here, part 2 will be my review on the concert mainly.

Old memories gone...

Went to visit my Nana today. Glad to see that she's doing well. However, they have moved to apartment complexs, and the old area they live in has been demolished and stuff, and its no longer liveable. You probably don't know this, but Taiwan has these things we call 眷村 (military dependents' village) (see wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_dependents%27_village), which is a bloody fun place. Everyone knows each other etc etc, and most of them have military backgrounds. They are getting knocked down left and right from development, though D=

Basically, we went around the old village they lived in. Most of the buildings have been damaged (due to demolishment), with anything that could be sold (metal pieces, doorknobs) taken. Rubble and wood lay everywhere... it was kinda saddening, to think that I used to play there often when we went to Nana's. However, the tree we used to climb was still there, so its somewhat a relief. Walked around a bit, but didn't get in too far because there's apparently snakes now >.>

Didn't bring a camera, but if I get to go there again I will take some pictures of how deserted and runied that place is... T_T

Going to Taipei tomorrow, gonna take looooooots of photos. FES & Nagato... I'm coming!
See you for now~

Night markets and those sorts

Aah, Taiwan Night markets. What is Taiwan without them?

Went around and ate like 7 different things for like ~ 200 NT. That's um... $7 US? or $12 NZ. Pretty darn cheap, although it seems to have gone up a little from 4 years ago. Plenty of other stuff too, clothes, cellphone decorations, clocks, random things. So stuffed~ love the stinky tofu. It tastes awesome despite the smell.

Got my other books as well, prob post them up tomorrow or something.

They aren't actually mine, they are gonna be prizes for the anime club quiz. Ya.

Rest of the stuff. I told you there isn't much. Oh well, Nadesico is awesome and so is the Zaku disc case. Rawr.

Leave the Gundam behind!

Today was the Geddon on Monday. We arrived at the city at like 8:30, wandered a bit then went in.

Bought an Eva poster for $7.50 (it was 2 for 15 but another friend bought one too), then wandered around shops just looking at random stuff. My friend won a Black Tri-star set of cushions with teh Gundam lucky draw. D:

11am was the Crispin Freeman panel on Superheroes and Giant Robots. That was quite an informative show, and solved to as why the US has Superheroes and Japan has Giant robots. It's to do with Religion, divinity and manifestations. More stuff here. He then talked about those robots being vessels to help you achieve enlightment and how you should leave them behind once you have obtained it. He used an example of Amuro vs Char in A Baoa Qu, with Amuro letting go of the Gundam while Char tried to keep it until the last possible moment. (Go watch that bit!). He then ended the panel with "leave the Gundam behind."

Afternoon was a flurry of random stuff eg food, sitting there watching random anime etc. The cosplay skits was pretty lol. ONe group used the Loituma music :o, and there was a Hatsune Miku doing the Nyan nyan dance. Werid stuff. Winner was some Trinity blood cosplay, and I can't agree on it more.

Caught some bargains in the alst 30 mins of the con, will post pics of what I got tomorrow seeing we only bought a camera today >.>. Spent about $120 for the two days. Could have been more but, Taiwan calls.

Armageddon Auckland 08 - Saturday (+H!ACP)

http://pulpexpo.com/ For you who doesn't know.

Went on Saturday mainly for the Panel by Crispin Freeman on dubbing. Was great fun, we got him to say "All Hail Britannia!" and called him ORENJI-KUN.

All those aside, the con was pretty good. As usual, it lacks ANY Japanese anime/manga related peoples. But it's NZ, so bleh. However, there was a random draw thing for $10 so I went and got a Zaku CD carry case. My other friend got the Zaku MP3, which put me into despair. There was also a lot of overpriced figures and gunpla for sale, lol. Although you could haggle. Also spotted the Eva movie for sale for $30 + free poster, so debating whether I want to buy :o (or just the poster for $10).

Bought a few DVD boxes + 1st volumes for $5 ea. They were Gunslinger Girl, Gravin and GitS: SAC. Gone by friday, due to it being used as prizes. Alos some pretty good AMVs. One of them was a TTGL one which spoils people anyone who hasn't watched it. (Episode 8, anyone?)

After the Con, ignoring the Eva movie that was being shown (seen it on big screens in July XD), we headed to the H!ACP party.
It's hosted by Tammy of the Auckland Cosplay Forums. http://cosplaynewzealand.forumotion.com/
We had lots of food and drinks, and random games. They kept trying to get me to do the fish on a cutting board (don't ask. PLEASE), so I had to do it and won some chocolate, so I guess it wasn't all that bad. Pretty fun when there is like 40 people in a room doing Caramelldancin, and whatsnot.

Going again on Monday for the Cosplay comp (saw awesome ones today, love you ACP guys), and a panel on Giant Robots vs Superheroes. Also discouts like half an hr before the con ends XD

The end of everything, the start of a new thing.

Basically, I decided to make a blog mainly for when I am in Taiwan so you can see what the hell I am doing.

Basically, I am going back to Taiwan for 2.5 months after my end of year exams and before Uni. Yay.

I am a 18yr old male from NZ. Any more and I'm afraid I will have to kill you. In a random way.

Interests are watching anime, being random, reading, being random, listening to music, being random, talking about being random, being random and being random. By this point, if you do not know that I am random, please stop and phone your nearest psychiatrist. Thank you for your time.

For the rest of you, welcome and enjoy reading about my random ramblings that I will randomly post. Exams soon roegjiogjogng.

I will be adding on extra templates and stuff, but I got a bit lazy tonight, and so will probably not do it till later. Don't ask me when. I'll do it when I randomly feel like it.

PS: how much times have I said random?
